Welcome to Acorns Day Nursery!

Located in Sevenoaks in Kent. Acorns Day Nursery offers childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years old. Our nursery is a safe and nurturing place for your children to develop and learn.  Each age group has their own room allowing us to tailor and target the care given to your child. Acorns Day nursery provides year-round childcare support for families and their children by offering flexible full-time and part-time childcare places.

Open for Childcare Monday to Friday

We provide childcare Monday to Friday. Our nursery is closed on bank holidays and in-between Christmas and New Year.

Acorns Day Nursery is made up of a team of dedicated practitioners, including our nursery manager Joanne who has over 30 years of childcare experience. Each child is provided with the highest level of care and education from our qualified team. Our nursery officers hold Paediatric First Aid qualifications and relevant additional training can be accessed at any time, including degree level qualifications. Each child is given constant encouragement from our team through their exceptional level of childcare knowledge.

Stimulating Nursery in Sevenoaks

Situated in the grounds of Sevenoaks Primary School. Our nursery is located in a large, enclosed garden. Allowing the children at our nursery to enjoy the freedom to run and enjoy our extensive range of equipment which includes climbing frames, swings, climbing ropes and balance beams.  Our garden sits under a canopy of mature trees - perfect to provide shade in the summer and amusement with leaves in the autumn.

Inside our Nursery

Our rooms inside the nursery are divided into the Baby Room for 6 months - 18 months, the Chipmunks Room for 18 months - 2 years, the Badgers Room for 2 years - 3 years and the Foxes Room for 3 years plus. Allowing us to provide care that encourages learning relevant for your child's stage of development. Each room at Acorns Day Nursery is designed and furnished with consideration of the key playing and learning equipment for your child's age and all rooms enjoy time in our lovely garden. The older children have ‘free flow’ access during their nursery day. The children experience all the advantages of our indoor and outdoor facilities.

Nursery Schools Fees and Funding

Our daily fee includes morning snack, hot lunch, snack tea and all drinks. Please contact Joanne Luffman-Cook at the nursery for information and enquiries on our fees and government funding options.

Thank you for everything you’ve done over the years – we hugely appreciate it. Both our children had a lot of fun here and will leave extremely well set up for school. We will miss you.

The Early Years Foundation Stage

Acorns Day Nursery work to The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). All early year providers follow the Early Years curriculum set by the EYFS. At our nursery we ensure all parts of the Early Years curriculum is met and that your children develop and learn inline with their guidelines. Each child is kept safe at all times.
