We have all been learning about two beluga whales, Little Grey and Little White, and following their story from captivity in China to the first ever whale sanctuary in Iceland.
The children have enjoyed all kinds of activities, such as role play whale rescue, swimming whale models, under the sea dens and even naming our own beluga whale…Little Acorn!
The children drew pictures and asked questions which we sent to the team looking after Little Grey and Little White in Iceland and they sent us a special reply. So exciting!
It’s been a whaley great day!
